A LIFE-THREATENING FLOODING SITUATION IS OCCURRING. Repeated severe thunderstorms have produced between 5 and 8 inches of rain across Cedar Hollow since early this morning. Additional rainfall of 2 to 4 inches is possible before the storm system moves offshore tonight.

Emergency management reports rapidly rising water along Hollow Creek, flooded homes in the Lower Mill district, and multiple stranded vehicles. Residents near creeks, drainage channels, and low-lying coastal roads should move to higher ground immediately.
